New needles in the Pony range are black and not nickel plated. This comes as good news to allergy sufferers.
These needles have a black non-reflective surface and a white eye, which is very soothing to the eye. Crewels are identical in length and thickness to sharps, but have a longer eye for easier threading of thicker threads.
These fine embroidery needles are used for most embroidery work on tightly woven non-mesh fabric.
